Reward Offered In Murder Investigation Of 18-Year-Old On Long Island

A reward is being offered by police investigators on Long Island as they attempt to identify and locate the suspects responsible for murdering a teenager in 2021.

At approximately 9:10 p.m. on Oct. 26, 2021, police investigators in Suffolk County said that 18-year-old Marcel Arrington was shot to death on Bayview Drive in Mastic Beach.

According to police, upon arrival, officers found Arrington in front of the residence with a gunshot wound.

He was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue, where he was later pronounced dead.

With the investigation ongoing, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers announced that they are offering a $2,000 “fast cash” reward for information that leads to an arrest. According to police, the reward would be issued within 72 hours.

Anyone with information regarding the homicide has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or submitting an anonymous tip online.
